About the Program

Samba Roots: From Samba de Roda to Samba de Passista is a 4-week online training program designed to help dancers build a strong foundation while exploring the cultural roots of samba. Throughout 9 live classes, you will develop technique, musicality, coordination, confidence, and performance skills through a combination of Samba de Roda, Samba no Pé, Afro-Brazilian movement, heels training, and bateria practice. This program is open to all levels and is ideal for dancers who want to improve their samba, deepen their cultural understanding, and connect movement with tradition. Whether your goal is to dance socially, perform, prepare for Carnaval, or simply strengthen your foundation, this program will provide the tools, training, and support to help you grow. Join us this June as we honor the roots, build confidence, and take our samba to the next level together.
